Formats are JPG/JPEG on every portal listed. SSC has moved to live photo capture at the exam centre for some 2026 cycles while still accepting the uploaded photograph on others — check your admit card instructions.
Your Aadhaar scan never touches a server
There is no backend to send it to. Uploading, resizing, compressing and PDF assembly all happen inside this tab using the browser's canvas and WebAssembly. Open your browser's Network tab and watch: after the page loads, nothing else is requested.
Zero upload
Files are read with the browser's File API and written back with canvas.toBlob(). There is no fetch() of your document anywhere in the code.

Are my documents uploaded to a server?
No. Every operation — resizing, compression, edge detection and PDF merging — runs inside your browser using the HTML5 Canvas and WebAssembly libraries. There is no backend, so there is nothing to leak. You can even disconnect your internet after the page loads.
How does the compressor hit exactly 20KB or 50KB?
The tool re-encodes your image with JPEG quality values picked by binary search. It starts at quality 92, halves the search window each pass, and stops when the encoded byte count lands just under your target — usually in 6 to 8 iterations, verified before you download.
Which exams do the presets cover?
SSC (CGL, CHSL, MTS, CPO), UPSC (CSE, NDA, CDS, CAPF), IBPS and SBI banking forms including thumb impression and handwritten declaration, RRB railway forms, UP state commissions and most state police boards — plus passport and visa photo sizes. Each preset shows the accepted window so you can confirm it against your notification.
Will it work on a cheap Android phone?
Yes. The page is a few hundred kilobytes of HTML, CSS and JavaScript with no video or heavy framework, and images are downscaled with repeated halving so even a 12 MP camera photo compresses in a couple of seconds. Install it to your home screen and it opens like an app without a browser bar.
What is a DOPO photo and when do I need one?
DOPO stands for “Date Of Photograph On photo”. Several boards ask for the candidate's name and the date the photograph was taken to be printed on a white strip below the photo, so the photo cannot be swapped later. The DOPO Maker lays that strip out with the right margins and font sizing and exports a print-ready sheet.
Is there any hidden limit or paid tier?
No accounts, no daily caps, no output watermarks, no “upgrade to download”. Because processing happens on your own CPU the running cost for the site is a static file host, which is why it can stay free.
