Getting the best quality

  • Start from the biggest original you have. Compressing a 4 MB camera photo to 50 KB looks far better than compressing an already-shrunk 200 KB WhatsApp copy.
  • 20 KB is tight for a face. At 20 KB the tool usually has to reduce resolution too, so use it for signatures rather than photographs.
  • Keep the minimum in mind. If your notification says 20–50 KB, set the minimum field to 20 as well — a 9 KB file is rejected just as fast as a 60 KB one.
  • Drop several photos at once. A queue is processed one by one and each finished file gets its own download button.
